		<description>Great idea.  I just put most every stuffed animal in a pillowcase and safety pin it shut.  Then I just throw it in the washing machine on delicate (I&#039;ve even done a few in hot water - if they were really really dirty) and then right into the dryer.  Haven&#039;t ruined a stuffed animal yet.

You can&#039;t do this with the ones that have electric stuff inside for playing music or sounds.</description>

		<description>I also heard this from a friend whose daughter had allergies- Put the stuffed animal in a ziplock bag, then put it in the freezer overnight. The cold kills the dust mites. Works well for toys that cannot go into the dryer heat.</description>
