I just put most every stuffed animal in a pillowcase and safety pin it shut. Then I just throw it in the washing machine on delicate (I've even done a few in hot water - if they were really really dirty) and then right into the dryer. Haven't ruined a stuffed animal yet. You can't do this with the ones that have electric stuff inside for playing music or sounds. Great idea. I just put most every stuffed animal in a pillowcase and safety pin it shut. The cold kills the dust mites. Works well for toys that cannot go into the dryer heat. I have a bison mount and was wondering how to keep it clean. We vacuum it yearly but every year it looks worse for the wear so to speak. Thanks.
